3 months on

never quite made it to the statue of liberty.

the internship at Kraft ended fabulously. I made the strongest presentation of my life and everyone loved it. it was clear that I stunned them with my smartness :)

the inevitable happened - Kraft made me an offer for the position of associate brand manager in their NY office. well, I needed to be in Chicago....so I negotiated - an interest-based, integrative negotiation, as Fred Crandall would call it :-) They agreed and so thats it - I have a job. It was that easy.

that has been the most significant event in the last 3 months.

other fun stuff -

Deepanshu and I went to Washington DC and stayed with his friend Jairam and his wife Arpita. It was a good, but hot (phew) trip. I hated the traffic...there are NO signs in the entire city. georgetown was fun. checked off many national monuments - the Lincoln Memorial, Washington Monument, the White House, Vietnam War Memorial, Korean War Memorial, WWII Memorial.
A special mention of the Holocaust Museum - what a fantastic place! the information presented were detailed, all perspectives were represented, and they expressed the pain without making it gory or overly emotional. the best museum I have EVER visited.

saw Wicked, the Musical last weekend at the Ford Center in Chicago. it was the best Broadway musical I have seen. great sets, and what a fantastic plot beautifully interwoven with the original wonderful wizard of Oz story.
