the years that were 2008 and 2009
another long break from the blog...oh well, i am going to stop complaining about that. as long as i update this occasionally with big changes, major life events...it wil have to do.
so let's see what has changed and what has remained the same since March 2008...
- i am still with kraft, still a senior abm (which is starting to get old, seriously), now on cool whip
- d quit stark earlier this year and we promptly put our libertyville condo on the market, unfortunately with no luck given how crappy the real estate market was this year
- d also took the summer off (i was so jealous!), we got ourselves a sublet in the gold coast for the summer (so much fun) and finally just bit the bullet and moved to a cool loft in river north in chicago in the fall (found a renter for our l'ville condo)
we did some more fun traveling - peru in the summer of '08 (machu picchu was all that i had heard of and more), sonoma over labor day in '08 (prefer it to napa, any day), spain in spring '09 (loved loved loved andalucia - sevilla, cordoba, granada) and japan in fall '09 (i bow deeply to your super-efficient, hi-tech country....loved riding the shinkansen aka the bullet train)
it's almost 2010 and it will be a life changing year for me and d - we are expecting a baby in july!
